Casar - Mrs. Mary McNeilly Ledford, 98, of Wes Cook Road passed away on
Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Cleveland Pines in Shelby.

Born on April 15, 1918 in Cleveland County, NC she was a daughter of the
late William Avery McNeilly and Lottie White McNeilly. Mrs. Ledford was
retired from Broughton Hospital as a nursing technician. She was a member
of Corinth Baptist Church in Casar.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred
Arthur Ledford and one sister, Avis Costner.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Janet Ledford;
one grandson, Michael Ledford and wife Heidi; five great grandchildren, Ian,
Brandon, Lily, Hannah and Charlie all of Polkville and a sister, Evelyn B.
Debose of Ashboro.

Visitation will be on Monday, March 27, 2017 from 6:00 to 7:30 PM at
Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home & Cremation Center.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at
Corinth Baptist Church in Casar with the Revs. Robert Goins and Jerry Lail
officiating.

Burial will be in the church cemetery.
