Mary Sue "Pete" Weaver Humphries, 87, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, June 17, 2022 at Hospice of Wendover.

She was born in the Cleveland County to the late Paul and Carrie Weaver. She is also predeceased by her sisters, Nellie McCoy, Eva Clary, Gertrude Davis and Frances Whitworth.

"Pete" is survived by daughters, Anita White and husband Jimmy and Annette Lindsey and husband Craig; granddaughter, Meghan Alkassar husband Mohamed; grandson, Alan Lindsey wife Jennifer; great-grandchildren, Kareem, Omar, Chris and Carter; brother, Charles Weaver and wife Sue.

She was a member of Buffalo Baptist Church of Shelby. She loved yard work, gardening, dancing, working and the love of many friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on June 22, 2022 at Buffalo Baptist Church, 108 Buffalo Church Road, Shelby, NC 28150. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Internment will be immediately following the service at the Church Cemetery.
