Maximo Omar Loaces, age 65, passed away February 5, 2022 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia, NC.

Born in Pinar Del Rio, Cuba on June 8, 1956, he was the son of Dora Mirta Candelaria Loaces and the late Oscar Placido Loaces.

Omar is survived by his daughter, Leslie Henderson, her husband Dylan and their daughter Victoria, his son, Even Loaces, wife Annamarie and their daughter Ellie. Omar is also survived by his siblings; Magaly Sullivan, Francisco Loaces, and Jesus Loaces. Also left to cherish Omar's memory is the mother of his children, Samay Cisneros.

The funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, February 10, 2022 at the chapel of Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 pm - 2:00pm. Burial will follow the service at Cleveland Memorial Park.
