Good with cats, dogs • Crate trained • Housetrained

Demo now named Truffles, came to us alongside her brother, Dex. They were given their names because both were suffering from demodectic mange when they were rescued on 08/23/2024. Demodectic mange is hereditary, not contagious, but because they had been surviving outdoors with their feral parents, they had also developed secondary skin infections.
Today, Truffles has made a complete recovery and is a healthy girl. She is currently in a foster home, where she's slowly learning that people can be kind and trustworthy. While she's still quite shy, her confidence grows a little more each day. Truffles is incredibly sweet and gentle. Although she can be fearful in new situations, she has never shown any aggression. She'll flourish with a patient, compassionate family willing to give her the time, love, and reassurance she needs to continue coming out of her shell.
With her beautiful markings, gentle personality, and perfect medium size at around 45 pounds, this lovely hound mix is ready to find the forever home she's always deserved.
