Melanie Dawn Willis Behles, 52, passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2023 at her home.

Born in Cleveland County, on April 7, 1971, she was a daughter of Gary Edward Shuford and Robin Dawn Pennington Shuford. She was a homemaker and artist. Melanie found joy in everything she did from gardening to pottery to raising her family. She was the best mother, wife, daughter, sister and friend.

In addition to her parents she is survived by her husband David Behles; three children, Reegan Behles, Riley Behles, and Mallory Behles all of New Paris, IN; three brothers, Gary Shuford II and wife Leigh of Charlotte, Daniel Shuford and wife Kim of Atlanta, and Brian Shuford and wife Amie of Charlotte; two sisters, Terri Evans and husband Randy of Shelby and Heather Behles of Des Plaines, IL; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 6, 2023, from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm, at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.
