Melburn A. Richards, 69, went to be with his Lord Thursday, November 24, 2022 at Atrium Health Cleveland.

A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of the late Cecil and Julia Queen Richards.

Melburn was a member of New Buffalo Baptist Church, where he served as a former Deacon. He retired from Mulliken and had a love for hunting, fishing and grilling/smoking meat. Melburn loved his Lord and family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Pamela Richards.

He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Pat McKee Richards of the home; son, John Page and wife Chrystal of Grover; brother, Alan Richards and wife Brenda of Shelby; grandchildren, Chanity Creech and husband Houston, Christopher Miller and wife Kayla, Jordan Stone and husband Josh and Alecia Page; and special friend, Larry Camp of Blacksburg.

Funeral services will be held 3:00pm, Monday, November 28, 2022 at New Buffalo Baptist Church with the Rev. Adam Green officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, in the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
