Melvin "Buck" Green, age 54, of Forest City, died Sunday, May 6, 2018 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.
Born September 18, 1963 in Rutherford County, he was the son of the late Paul Memory Green and Carolyn Louiza Hawkins Green. He worked for Dan River Textiles for several years and was of the Christian faith. He enjoyed fishing and the outdoors. Buck had a heart to help others.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Kenneth "Red Man" Green, Dennis "Pine" Green and Neil Hawkins.
Survivors include two sisters, Darlene Millwood and husband, Ted of Ellenboro and Helen Green of Forest City; two brothers, Bruce Green and wife, Joe Ann of Henrietta and Paul Caulford of Forest City. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A private family gathering will be conducted at a later date.
Harrelson Funeral and Cremation Services has been entrusted with arrangements.
