Life's journey began for Michael Anthony Addison on March 16, 1978, in Cleveland County, NC. He is the son of Betty Lott and Dock Addison. On Monday, February 23, 2026, our loved one departed this life to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Michael was preceded in death by infant twin sisters, Renee and Lenay Addison; maternal grandparents, Essie and Jess Lott; paternal grandparents, Will and Marjorie Addison; and a brother in law, Anthony" Tony" Eugene Smith.

He leaves cherished and loving memories to his mother, Betty Lott of Shelby, NC; father, Dock Addison (Shonda); children, Josiah Markace Anthony Addison of GA, Aleah Addison and Shadae Hopper, both of Charlotte, NC, and Alexis Register of Winston-Salem, NC; grandchildren, Vasquez Deonta Roberson and Allison Addison; sisters, Dionne Addison Smith of Shelby, NC, Sharon Jackson Hunt (Madrick); brothers Brian Jackson and Scottie Hopper; nephews Donovan and Derrrick Brooks; niece, Traviyana Jefferies; special niece, Courtney Brooks, whom he loved to debate with for hours on end; and a host of other relatives and friends.
