Michael Edward Baity, 69, of Gastonia, NC, went to be with the Lord May 9, 2023. Michael was born on April 2, 1954 in Cleveland Co. NC to the late James Floyd and Mary Ruth Cabe Baity. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Heather Baity Roper and brother Bob Baity, Maxine Baity Barber. Michael graduated from Southern Wesleyan University and attended Gardner-Webb University. He was a member of First Wesleyan Church where he preached many sermons and also attended East Gastonia Church of God. He was a loving and kind husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to many.

Caitlin Baity Jones and husband Taylor, Kings Mtn. NC

Grandchildren: Dylan, Landon, Aydin, Owen, Jackson, Ellie, Aspen, Collin and Palmer

Brother: Ken Baity, Kings Mtn. NC

Sister: Kay Baity Hawkins, Kings Mtn. NC

Numerous nieces and nephews.
