Michael "Mike" Patrick Ames, 62 of E. Main Street, Lawndale, passed away on Monday, July 31, 2023 at his residence.

Born in California, on May 10, 1961, he was the son of the late John Patrick "Pat" Ames and Linda Bamford Ames. Mike was employed by Kerns Trucking. He was an avid and skilled skeet shooter and was active at many local gun ranges.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Tracy Ames Lind.

Survivors include his two daughters, Hailey Beaver and husband, Kyle of Gastonia and Hannah Ames of Charlotte; brother, Jeff Ames and spouse, Todd Jordan of Lawndale; nephew, Jeremy Jordan and spouse, Jessica and their two children, Jasa and Jaxon; and three granddogs, Banner, Harvey and Sophie.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, September 17, 2023 at 2:00pm at Rose Hill Memorial Park, Fallston.
