Michael Reeves, age 59, of Cliffside, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2017 at the Hospice House of Rutherford County.
Born April 9, 1958 in Spartanburg County, SC, he was a son to the late Larry Reeves and Grace Minnie Johnson Luck. Michael's interests included music and working on electronics. He also enjoyed making people laugh and taking care of children. Michael was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his step-father, Clifton Luck and a sister, June Autry.
Those left to cherish his memory include one brother, Gary Reeves and wife, Sheila of Hickory and a sister, Teresa Long of Cliffside; four nieces, Crystal Reeves, Amanda Reeves, Brooke Moore, Cathy Levesque and two nephews, Philip Foster and Andrew Autry. He is also survived by a number of great-nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Gary Reeves and Reverend Ralph Boyds officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
Memorial donations are respectfully requested to Teresa Long, 831 Hames Ridge Road, Mooresboro, NC 28114 to help with funeral costs.
