Michael Steven (Steve) Nolley, 59, passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at Atrium Health-Cleveland following an extended illness.
He is survived by his mother, LaNelle Ratledge Nolley of Shelby, two brothers, Dean Nolley and wife Heidi of Atlanta, GA, and Caleb Nolley of Augusta, GA; one niece, Katie Nolley, two nephews, Alex and Grant Nolley.
Steve was born in Mecklenburg County on June 7, 1963, he was a 1981 graduate of Crest High School and had completed his freshman year at UNC-Charlotte. He enjoyed playing golf, bowling, and baseball. Steve was a very good swimmer, loved music and playing the guitar.
He was preceded in death by his father, Caleb Hubert Nolley, Jr.
A Funeral service will be held 2pm on Sunday November 6th, 2022 at Sharon United Methodist Church officiated by Pastor MacKenzie Gary. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:30 to 2pm before the service. Burial will immediately follow at the church cemetery.
