Mike Putnam, age 46, of Old Church Street, Mooresboro, passed away Saturday, June 13, 2020 at Rutherford Regional Medical Center.

Mike was born April 10, 1974 in Cleveland County to Dan Putnam of Shelby and Joyce Bailey Hawkins of Mooresboro. He was a graduate of Kings Mountain High School, class of 1992 and worked for BMW Manufacturing Plant in Spartanburg. He loved spending time with his family and was of the Baptist faith.

Besides his parents, those left to cherish his memory include step-father, Chivous Hawkins of Mooresboro; companion, Danielle Beck of Mooresboro; three children, Logan, Macy and Jayden Putnam all of the home; sister, Sarah Watts (Shane Derreberry); stepsister, Carrie Ann Ramsey; nephews, Christopher Watts, Dylan Hegler, Cody Derreberry, Joshua Derreberry, J.R. Derreberry and niece, Jessica Watts Mmusi.

The funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 20, 2020 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Shane Adkins officiating. Interment will follow in High Shoals Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
