Mildred Leah Campbell Bradley
Mildred Leah Campbell Bradley, age 86, of Oak Ridge Drive, Forest City, NC, died Thursday, February 14, 2013 at Hospice House of Rutherford County.
     Mildred was born October 28, 1926 in Rutherford County, NC to the late Daniel Howard Campbell and Myrtle Dora Lackey Campbell.  Mildred worked for Broyhill for several years and was a loving and dedicated homemaker to her family.  She was a charter member of Forest Lake Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and was an active member of Victory Baptist Church of Ellenboro.  She was also an avid reader and loved spending time with her family.
     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of twenty-two years, Hoyt James Bradley; seven brothers and sisters, Christine Vassey, Nora Belle Adair, Luther Campbell, W.D. Campbell, Gerald A. Campbell, Nina King and Pat Smith and three grandchildren, Thomas Bradley, Kyle Short and Riley Sinclair Goode.
     Survivors include six children, Danny Bradley and wife Judy of Rutherfordton, Dale Whisnant and husband, Joe of Ellenboro, Sandra Shytle and husband Gary of Forest City, Joyce Blanton and husband, Roland of Cliffside, Tina Causby and husband, Jerry of Ellenboro, Jim Bradley of Forest City and his fiancé, Joyce Toney of Polk County; two brothers, Earl Campbell and wife, Shirley and Bill Campbell both of Forest City; two sisters, Sue Bostic and husband, Joe of Bostic and Mittie Rumfelt and husband, Jim of Forest City. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
     Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with Reverend J.R. Blanton and Reverend Reese English officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 until service time at the church.  At other times, they will be gathered at 846 Hames Ridge Road, Mooresboro.
