Minnie Mae Lee, age 60, of Forest City, passed away Sunday, September 3, 2017 at Rutherford Regional Medical Center.
Born September 27, 1956 in Rutherford County, she was a daughter to the late Cecil Lee and Altha Mae Mace Lee. Minnie worked for A & E Plastics for twenty-three years before her retirement and was a longtime member of Spindale Fellowship Holiness Church. She was an avid antique collector.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Rex Lee.
Those left to cherish her memory include two sisters, Ann Lee Bradley of Forest City and Ruby Bradley of Rutherfordton; one brother, Buster Lee of Bostic. She is also survived by two nieces; Brandy Lee and Easter Bradley and two nephews, Fermon Lee and Bobby Lee.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at the Spindale Fellowship Holiness Church with Reverend Leon Brown and Reverend Chad Sisk officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the church.
