Miranda L. Watson
Miranda L. Watson, age 30, of Rutherfordton, "God's Precious Angel who was temporarily entrusted to us," was called to her heavenly home on Saturday, April 28, 2018.
Born February 9, 1988 in Rutherford County, she is the daughter of Calvin Watson, Jr. and Polly Byars Watson. Miranda attended Chase High School and was a member of Kistler's Chapel United Methodist Church. She had a heart of love for everyone she met and touched many lives. Miranda always had a smile on her face and was the epitome of "Joy". Just recently she was able to take riding lessons on her favorite horse, "Beau" due to the generosity of Ruth Gold and the Therapeutic Riding of Tryon (TROT). She had two special toys which never left her hands. They were called "Fish" and "Little Man". Her life was a treasured gift from God to all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, David R. Byars; maternal grandmother, Louise Dodson Byars and a special great-aunt, Barbara Ledbetter Dodson.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her loving sister, Megan Watson Rollins and husband, Christopher Rollins of Rutherfordton; maternal grandmother, Barbara Byars of Cliffside; paternal grandparents, George Calvin Watson, Sr. and Opal Thompson of Rutherfordton. She is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles and cousins, which includes a special aunt and caregiver, Debbie Ware of Cliffside.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at Kistler's Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery with Reverend Johnny McCarty officiating.
