Misty Renee Greene Pruitt, age 38, of Leslie Drive, passed away peacefully Monday, September 21, 2020 at Wendover Hospice House.

She was born August 8, 1982 in Lincoln County to Ronnie Greene and Helen Ann Swink Mingus.

Misty enjoyed fishing with her husband Robert, trips to the beach, and family cookouts. She loved her family and will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Bobby and Flossie Greene; maternal grandparents, Doris Hughes and Bill Swink.

She is survived by her husband Robert Pruitt, mother, Helen Swink Mingus; father and stepmother, Ronnie and Marie Greene; daughters, Hannah Price and Allison Wray; sister, Alisa Swink; step-sisters, Keisha Clark and husband Gene, and Kendra Ham and husband Brad; step-brother, Scott Mingus; step-grandfather, Billy T. Hughes, Sr.; three grandchildren; eight nieces; five nephews; and one great-nephew.

A celebration of Misty's life, officiated by Pastor Karen Poston, will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday September 26, 2020 at Carpenter-Porter Funeral and Cremation Services.

Mrs. Pruitt will Lie In State from 12:00 to 1:45 prior to the service at the funeral home.
