Mrs. Inus Faye Merritt Kitts

Mrs. Inus Faye Merritt Kitts, age 79 of Mooresboro, went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 2, 2018.
She is survived by her two children, Michael Kitts and wife Amy of Campobello, SC, and Alicia Kitts Fortenberry of Mooresboro, NC, grandchildren, Mallori Owens and husband Michael, Samuel Kitts and wife Kayla, Emily Fortenberry, and Jacob Fortenberry, great grandchildren, Madisyn Owens, Gracie-Kate Kitts, Sawyer Lee Kitts, and Addley Kitts.
She was born on January 28, 1939 in Grainger County, Tennessee. She was the daughter of the late Ruben Perry Merritt and Zola Zana Johnson Merritt. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, John Marshall Kitts and her brother R.P. Merritt.
Mrs. Kitts was a long term member of Goode's Grove Baptist Church. She retired from P.P.G. after 35 years of service. Inus was a charter member of Boiling Springs Rescue and served on the board for many years. She enjoyed gardening, cutting grass, and attending her flower beds. Inus also loved spending time with her family and friends. She always reminded her children to, "kiss the babies."
A visitation will be held for friends and family on Wednesday, December 5, 2018, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Cleveland Funeral Services. Funeral services will be held at Goode's Grove Baptist Church on December 6, 2018, at 1:00pm, conducted by the Reverend Robby Hensley. Burial will follow at Cleveland Memorial Park.
