Murvyn Jean-Pierre, 53, of Lawndale, passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at Atrium Health - Cleveland, Shelby.

He was born in Haiti on December 8, 1968. He was previous employed with the New York Transit Authority and was a veteran of the US Army during Desert Storm. Murvyn was also of the Catholic Faith.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Jean-Pierre.

He is survived by his mother, Ghislaine Fontaine Apollon, two sisters, Maël Apollon and Claire Apollon; uncle, Serge Fontaine; three aunts Evelyne Delsoin, Yolaine Fontaine and Guilaine Fontaine and a special cousin, Irma Michel.

A viewing will he held on Friday, December 16, 2022, at 12 Noon to 1:00 pm at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home Chapel.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, December 16, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home Chapel.
