Myrtle Julie Lovelace Oliver, age 78 of Grover, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, September 23, 2021.

She is survived by her children, Michael Clyde Oliver (Gail), Angela Joy Oliver, and Christopher Jason Oliver, all of Grover, NC, two grandchildren, Caitlin Oliver and Hannah Oliver (Dustin), both of Grover, NC, four great grandchildren, Colton and Korie Lail, Blake and Skylar Causby, a sister, Bertha Trulove of Shelby, NC, and a brother, Fred Lovelace (Libby) of Grover, NC.

Born December 11, 1942 in Cleveland County, Julie was the daughter of the late David Sankey Lovelace and Minnie Roselle Causby Lovelace and was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Clyde Junior Oliver, three sisters, Viola Myers, Ruth Guiton, and Eveline Hamrick, and two brothers, Charles Lovelace and James Lovelace.

Julie was a member of Grover Church of God. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister. Julie loved bird watching, attending her flowers and garden, and sitting on her front porch with her constant canine companion, Skooter. Julie loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Monday, September 27, 2021 at Cleveland Funeral Services Chapel. A visitation will be held one hour prior at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Cleveland Memorial Park.
