Nancy Beth Weston Thackrah, 70, of W. Warren Street, Shelby, passed away
Thursday, August 2, 2018 at her home.

Born in Albany, New York, on December 12, 1947, she was a daughter of the
late Edward J. Weston, Sr. and Elaine De Rouville Weston. She was a retired
security guard and was a member of Christopher Road Baptist Church, Shelby.


Nancy was very active in her retirement community where she helped with
activities and providing transportation to her neighbors.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brother Paul
Weston.

She is survived by two sons, Scott Thackrah and wife Sandra of Mooresboro
and David Waters and wife, Edith of Grover; daughter, Heather Campbell and
husband Darin of Gastonia; three brothers, Edward Weston, Jr of New York,
Bruce Weston and Keith Weston both of Connecticut; two sisters, Wendy
Defrancesco of Morganton and Dianne Degroff of New York; nine grandchildren
and two great grandchildren.

The family will hold a memorial service on Sunday at 3:00 PM at Christopher
Road Baptist Church, Shelby with the Rev. Michael Tucker officiating.
