Nancy D. Owens, age 69, of Forest City, NC, died Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at Rutherford Regional Medical Center.
Nancy was born March 12, 1949 in Rutherford County and was the daughter of the late Bill Owens and Johnnie Tate Owens. She was a graduate of Chase High School and of Appalachian State University. Nancy worked as a mail carrier for nineteen years and enjoyed her dogs, gardening and painting.
She is survived by three special friends, Marie Padgett, Brian Hollifield and Betty Dill all of Forest City.
A service of remembrance will be held on a later date.
