Nancy Gail Wease Grigg, age 77, of Shelby passed away Friday Aril 29, 2022 peacefully at her residence.

Nancy was born Monday, April 23, 1945 in Cleveland County to the late Benjamin Earl Wease and Mamie Luckadoo Wease. Nancy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Nancy and Hugh were married on Sunday, August 26, 1962. She loved to sing in the church choir and sing solos. Nancy and Hugh were known for always doing everything together. If you saw one you saw the other.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Joseph Champion.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Hugh Wesley Grigg; a daughter, Sharon Grigg Champion and husband, Mark Champion; a son, Wesley Grigg and wife, Billie Grigg; three brothers, Benny Wease and wife Martha Wease, Don Wease and wife Vivian Wease, and Johnny Wease; grandchildren, Heather Houser and husband John Houser, Amy Williams and husband Mitchell Williams, Josh Champion, Grayson Grigg and Caroline Grigg; great grandchildren, Paige Houser, Hayden Houser, Marshall Williams, Easton Champion and Annzlee Champion.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, May 2, 2022 at Mulls Memorial Baptist Church with Reverend Jimmy Black officiating.
