Nancy Lee Hicks Lattimore, 86, of Lawndale passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at the Wendover Hospice House in Shelby.

She was born in Cleveland County on March 9, 1940, and was the daughter of the late John Lee Hicks and Wilma Tillman Hicks. She was a devoted loving wife, mother and nana. Nancy was of the Baptist Faith.

Additionally, Nancy was preceded in death by her husband Edgar Allen Lattimore, Sr.

Nancy is survived by her two sons Allen Lattimore and John Lattimore and wife Valerie all of Lawndale; grandchildren, Amanda Lattimore, Ben Lattimore and wife Erica, Rachel Smith and husband, Ryley Smith, Houston Lattimore and wife Caroline, Justin Lattimore and wife Shelley, Matthew Lattimore and wife Kinzy, and Lexi Cooper; great grandchildren, Jayla, Lathan, Casen, Sayler, Jace, Judd, Caroline, Rynnlee, Reed, Clark and Caleb.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 22, 2026, from 2:00pm to 3:00pm at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at 3:00pm in the Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jim Kilby officiating.

Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park in Fallston, NC.
