Nancy Sue "Toot" Carroll, 67, of 123 North Railroad Avenue, passed away Sunday, November 19th, 2017, at her residence.

Born in Kings Mountain, she was the widow of James Edward Carroll and the daughter of the late Clyde and Emma Lynch Breakfield. Mrs. Carroll previously worked as a teacher's assistant and was a member of Glory Bound Baptist Church.

Surviving Mrs. Carroll are one sister, Alice Rote; one brother, Daniel Bowen and wife, Kay; two granddaughters, Kristen and Hailey Nance; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Carroll was preceded in death by two sons, Gary and David Nance; three sisters, Betty Barnett, Hazel Lewis, and Florence Sipe; and two brothers, Reginald and William Breakfield.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 22nd, 2017, from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm at Gordon Mortuary of Gaffney, 211 E. Frederick St. Gaffney, SC 29340. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00 pm in the Gordon Mortuary of Gaffney Chapel with Pastor Michael Rote officiating. Interment will follow at Frederick Memorial Gardens.
