Nancy Warlick Carpenter, 80 of Casar Road, Casar passed away peacefully on July 15, 2025 at Testa Hospice House in Kings Mountain.

Born on July 31, 1944, in Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Warren Cicero Warlick and Ruby Ellen Taylor Warlick. She retired from Cleveland Community College Continuing Education Department as the Fire and Rescue Training Coordinator. Nancy enjoyed spending time sewing and making quilts. She especially loved teaching others how to sew, embroider and make quilts. Nancy enjoyed being outside working in the flower beds and the garden. She was a member of Casar Baptist Church where she taught her adult Sunday school class and sang in the choir.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Self Carpenter, Sr.

She is survived by her devoted children, Larry S. Carpenter, Jr. and wife, Angie of Lawndale, and Rhonda Carpenter Cassada and husband, Tom Ferri of Hillsborough. She was a proud grandmother to four grandchildren, Jacob Carpenter and wife, Nicole, Jessica Carpenter, Nicole Cassada, and Ryan Cassada, who will forever cherish the memories and the lessons she imparted upon them.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 19, 2025 from 2:00pm to 3:00pm at Casar Baptist Church.

The funeral service will be on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at 3:00pm at Casar Baptist Church with Rev. Doug Pruett officiating.

Burial will follow in the Clover Hill Cemetery.
