Nannie Sue Campbell

Sue passed away peacefully at her daughters home in Bakersfield, CA after a lengthy illness.

She graduated from Fallston School in Fallston, NC in 1956. She was employed at Fiber Industries in Shelby NC. A member of Friendship United Methodist Church. After retiring she and her late husband Walter Campbell, moved to Twin Oaks, California to be near their grandchildren Hunter and Lena Napier.

Sue was a devoted member of the Caliente Educational Foundation for many years, volunteering her time to raise money for the local school. She was a devoted grandmother and loved nothing more than spoiling them daily.

In addition to her late husband: Walter Campbell of Maiden NC, Sue is preceded in death by her parents Clyde Smith and Hessie Lewis Smith Lovelace of Fallston NC, daughter Deborah Sue Wilson, daughter Donna Louise Wilson, brother Ralph Smith of Fallston NC; sister Mildred Haskell of Shelby NC and niece Marilyn Wright of Shelby NC.

She is survived by her daughter, Dee Napier Snider and her husband, Steve Snider of Twin Oaks, CA.; grandson, Hunter Napier of Santa Clarita, CA; granddaughter, Lena Napier of Glendale CA; sister, Doris Funk and husband George Funk of Fallston, NC; niece, Sherry Hunt and her husband, Scott Hunt and daughter Kayla Hunt of Lake James NC; nephew, Mike Funk and wife Chris and son Alex of Fallston NC; as well as many Lewis/Smith cousins of a Fallston NC.

A memorial service will be held at Rose Hill Memorial Park Fallston NC on Sept 17,2022 at 11 am. All family and friends are invited
