The annual Cherryville Cherry Blossom Festival offered a special treat this year when they presented the band Nantucket. Nantucket is a rock band that was formed in Jacksonville, North Carolina in 1969. Originally known as beach music band Stax of Gold, later Nantucket Sleighride and finally Nantucket. It was a sensation gathering numerous fans across the southeastern United States. Soon a new hit CD featuring songs with the sound of rock/country will be released. Their concert in Cherryville was great! The Cherry Blossom Festival brought out hundreds of fans and family. Cherryville out did themselves this year!
