Nathan Nodine, age 59, of Rutherfordton, passed away Thursday, August 24, 2017 at Mission Hospital-St. Joseph Campus in Asheville.
Born June 15, 1958 in Rutherford County, he was the son of the late Thomas Utah Nodine and Pauline Brindle Nodine. Nathan worked for Watts Regulators for several years and was a devoted animal lover. He had a tender heart for others and was a friend to everyone.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Morrow Nodine; two sisters, Susie Lovelace, Linda Lovelace and a brother, Bobby Nodine.
Those left to cherish his memory include two step-daughters, Jenette Seavers of Ohio and Annette Anderson of Washington; three sisters, Dean Carter and husband, John of Ellenboro, Melinda Green and husband, Joel of Mooresboro and Sandy Arrowood and husband, Johnny of Forest City. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, George.
A private family gathering will be held on a later date.
