Ned Little Holland Jr., age 85, passed away Monday, July 31, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family. Born in Charlotte on September 1, 1931; he was the son of the late Ned Holland Sr. and Edna Smith Holland Zack. He and his wife Mary met in the third grade and graduated from Berryhill High School in 1949. Ned retired from sales at Richards Paint Manufacturing in Rockledge, FL. He enjoyed wine making and wood working in his retirement as well as fishing and golf.

Ned is survived by his wife of 66 years, Mary Zack Holland, his son Michael Holland of Vale, three daughters; Gail (Wayne) Fieler of Cherryville, Brenda (David) Robertson of Ball Ground, GA and Linda Wilson of Cherryville. One brother; Andrew Holland of Nesconset, NY, and one sister, Barbara (Eddie) Bellouney of Lake Huntington, NY as well as 11 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 am, Friday, August 4, 2017 at Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home and Crematory, with Miles Crouse, Associate Pastor of Bethel Baptist Church officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10 am until 11 am. Burial will follow at Cherryville City Memorial Cemetery.
