Ned Thomas Ruppe, age 83 of Mooresboro, NC, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at his home.

He was a native of Cherokee County, SC and the son to the late Jacob Cecil Ruppe and Sally Keeter Ruppe.

Ned was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Mooresboro. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He loved to do work on his tractor and go camping with his family but most of all Ned loved the Lord.

In addition to his parents Ned was preceded in death by his first wife Betty Carolyn Kirby Ruppe and two brothers Marshall and Henry Ruppe.

He is survived by his second wife Judy Houser Ruppe of the home, six children; Gary Ruppe (Lori), Jeff Ruppe (Donna), Angela Poteat (Steve), Dan Marsh Jr., James Marsh (Traci) and Andrew Marsh (Eva), one brother Wayne Ruppe (Brenda), one sister Judy Bright (Lee) and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Monday, January 31, 2022 from 6pm to 8pm at Calvary Baptist Church of Mooresboro. The funeral service will be held at 11am on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at Calvary Baptist Church with the Reverend Tim Frasier officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
