| Mrs. Nellie Virginia Morrison, 95, of Boiling Springs, NC passed away January 23, 2013 at Hospice of Cleveland County at Wendover. A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late John Burton Willis and Jessie Mae Burleson Willis. Mrs. Morrison enjoyed sewing, singing, playing musical instruments, cooking and babysitting her grandchildren. She was a member of Davidson Memorial Baptist Church. The family would like to extend a special thanks to all the caregivers and friends of Shelby Manor 4th floor east at Cleveland Regional Medical Center and Hospice at Wendover.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband T.B. Morrison; one son, Jimmy Morrison; one daughter, Linda Blanton; three sisters and three brothers.
She is survived by six daughters, Betty Putnam of Shelby, Nancy Davis and husband Royce of Shelby, Peggy Wright of Shelby, Robin Price and husband Terry of Boiling Springs, Sandra Hiebert and husband Ralph of Shelby and Tracy McSwain and husband Sam of Shelby; five sons, Johnny Morrison and wife Faye of Shelby, Steve Morrison and wife Vickie of Mooresboro, Larry Morrison and wife Betty of Lawndale, Roger Morrison of Shelby and Ronnie Morrison of Mooresboro; one sister, Dorothy White of Shelby; 26 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation: The family will receive friends, Friday, January 25, 2013, from 6:00-8:00 PM
