| New Junior Golf Program at Shelby City Park |

The Royster Memorial Golf Course at City Park has begun a new Junior Golf Program. U.S. Kids Golf now recognizes Royster as a facility dedicated to the growth of Junior Golf. The certified Instructor and Director of the program is Richard Degree who is deeply committed to enhancing the youngsters understanding of the game and how to play the game. He believes that juniors need to set a goal, continually practice to improve their skills and thoroughly enjoy the challenges of the game. The golf course is located at 850 West Sumter Street in Shelby. For information and sign up (ages 7 to 16), call 704-484-6823. The Junior Golf Program happens on Mondays and Thursdays. It’s a great introduction to golf for the youngsters.
