On Saturday, May 16th, the windows were removed from the front of the Newgrass Brewing Company as four stainless steel vats were delivered to the Brewery. One of its' owners, Greg Melton pictured, was there to receive and carefully place the vats inside. Two of the vats will each hold and make 420 gallons of brew. The other two's capacity is 210 gallons each. The Newgrass Brewing Company is scheduled to open on July 1st and will feature 112 craft beers, as well as seasonal selections, and food. The former Hudson's Department Store building at 213 S. Lafayette Street in Uptown Shelby is the location.
