Nicole Lynn Boyer

Gastonia - Ms. Nicole Lynn Boyer, 40, passed away on Tuesday, January 23,
2018 at Testa Family Hospice House in Kings Mountain.

Nicole was born on December 9, 1977 in Niagara Falls, New York a daughter of
the late Richard Boyer and Marlene Trent Boyer. She graduated from La Salle
High School, earned her Bachelors Degree from D'youville College in Buffalo,
New York and Master's Degree from Gardner Webb University in Boiling
Springs, NC. Nicole was employed by Gaston County School System and was a
second grade teacher at Cherryville Elementary School. She was a member of
Revolution Church in Gastonia and also the Delta Kappa Gamma teaching
society.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy
Boyer.

Survivors include a special cousin and caregiver, Sarah Cardamone; a
brother, Ricky Boyer both of Niagara Falls, NY; two nephews, Daniel Boyer of
Gastonia and Andrew Boyer of Niagara Falls, NY; neice, Whitney Boyer and
great neice, Eva Boyer both of Lawndale and several aunts, uncles and
cousins; also surviving are her special friends at Cherryville Elementary
School who were like her family and her fur babies, Maddie, Briley, Owen,
Bella, Lola and Powder.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Cherryville Elementary
School for the outpouring of love and support they have shown to Nicole.

Visitation will be on Thursday, January 25, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00PM at
Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home & Cremation Service.

A celebration of life service will be held at 4:00PM on Friday, January 26,
2018 at Anthony Grove Baptist Church in Crouse, with the Revs. Ken
Faulkenbury and Ben Hibberts officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Delta Kappa Gamma
Scholarship Fund, c/o Paula Goforth, 103 St. Gaudens Court, Kings Mountain,
NC 28086
