Norisa Rae "Ris" Keever, 45, of Shelby, North Carolina, passed away on May 7, 2025.

Born on May 24, 1979, in Orlando Florida, she brought warmth and light into the lives of all who knew her.

Norisa was a devoted daughter to her mother Lisa and father Rod and a loving wife to her husband Keith. She was the proud mother of five children--Aubre, Marcus, Trevor, Kirsten, and Emma--and cherished her role as grandmother to Gabby, Za'Via, Javonni, and Izeyiah as well as "Auntie" to her nephew Damoni and niece Tiffani. Her family was the center of her world, and she found immense joy in creating lasting memories with them.

She was preceded in death by her beloved brother Rod Andrew and her grandparents Kragh and Betty. Their memories remained close to her heart throughout her life.

Norisa had a passion for travel and embraced every opportunity to explore new places. Whether discovering unfamiliar destinations or enjoying simple moments at home surrounded by loved ones, she lived fully and generously. Music was another source of joy for Norisa--it filled her days and brought her celebration and comfort.

Known for her selflessness, Norisa consistently put others before herself. Her compassion touched many lives, leaving behind a legacy of kindness that will continue to inspire those who knew her.

She will be deeply missed but never forgotten. May her memory bring comfort and peace to all who carry her in their hearts.

A Celebration Of Life will be held for Norisa at a later date.
