Norman Gene Welborn, 88, of Blacksburg, SC, passed away on Monday, June 26, 2023 at his son's home in Deltona, Florida.

Born in Greenville, SC, he was the son of the late Grover Cleveland and Hassie Irene Mote Welborn.

Norman spent his professional career as a screen printer for Venline Screen Printers and later retired after a lifetime of dedicated service to his career and company.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife of over fifty years, Helen Davis Welborn and a daughter Paula Elaine Smith.

He is survived by two daughters; Debbie Welborn Tankersley, Marjorie Nanette Turner and son; Lucious Ned Pearson.

The Welborn family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM, Sunday, July 2, 2023 at Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home and Crematory. A Memorial service will be held 2:00 PM, Monday, July 3, 2023 at the chapel of Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will follow the service at Clingman Memorial Gardens, in Blacksburg, SC.
