Norman Lee Weaver

Norman Lee Weaver, 81, died Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at Woodland Place Senior Living in Spartanburg.

A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of the late Clement Dixon and Minnie Lee Haynes Weaver.

Norman served in the US Army, was the owner and operator of Weaver Dental Lab for over 30 years, and was an active and devoted member of Ross Grove Baptist Church.

He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, and was often called Rooster because of his collection of roosters. He loved to work in his vegetable garden. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Richard Dixon Weaver and L.B. Weaver; and sister, Doris Henson and Madgie Edmondson. He is survived by his loving wife of 22 year, Betty Griffin Weaver of Gaffney; son, Lee Weaver Jr. of Boiling Springs; step-children, Laura Lynn Doyle and husband Shand of New Albany, MS, Mary Hampton and husband David of Blacksburg and Kendall Griffin of Mooresville; grandchildren, Brittney Weaver of Murphy and Brandy Weaver of Cherryville; step-grandchildren, Ashely Pettigrow and husband Jason of Waco, TX, Dana Hampton and fiancé Mason of Spartanburg and Kayla Medlock and husband Jacob of Shannon, MS.

A graveside service, with military honors, will be held 2:00pm, Monday, September 27, 2021 in Ross Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, officiated by the Rev. Jacob Medlock. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ross Grove Baptist Church. Face mask are encouraged.
