Ola Lee Arrowood Radford, age 89 of Kirks Circle, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Brian Center of Gastonia. She was born May 16, 1929 in McDowell County to the late Calvin and Annie Arrowood. Ola loved dancing and enjoyed watching Gunsmoke and cartoons.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Elmer Radford; an infant son; daughter, Brenda Jane Radford; and sister, Maggie Jane Medford.

Survivors include her children, Gary Radford (Gloria), Lester Radford, Donna Flowers (Joe), Joe Radford (Shirlene), and Kathleen Radford (Don Hughes); grandchildren, Patricia Koschny, Alicia Radford, Heather Radford, Angel Lemley, Forrest Flowers, Diane Radford, and Tammy Columbia; thirteen great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; and sister, Sue Cable.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Carpenter-Porter Funeral & Cremation Services with Rev. Jerry Willard officiating. Burial will follow at Armstrong Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 12:30 to 1:45 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
