Oland Aster Horn, age 96, a resident of 520 Bell Road, Kings Mountain, went to be with the Lord at the Testa Hospice House, Saturday, March 19, 2016. Born in Cleveland County, NC, son of the late Joseph Lee and Leola Ware Horn and loving stepfather Robert Lovin. He was also preceded in death by his first wife Bertie Lee Dixon Horn and second wife Eunice McKinney Horn and was also preceded in death by a son, Edwin Lee Horn, daughter, Karen Jeanette Horn, two brothers, Holland Arnold Horn and Thomas Lee Horn and sister, Dayla Horn. He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church where he was the oldest member and oldest Deacon. Oland was a lifetime member of the church and former head of the Brotherhood. A good person who took care of his family and friends and also loved going to the flea market and working on lawn mowers. He was the retired owner of O.A. Horn Construction Company.

Grandchildren: Kim Bumgardner and husband Robert, John Kelly; Scism and wife Lori, Debbie Chapman and husband Alan, Julie Hicks and husband Eric; Great Grandchildren: Keisha Davis, Bryan Chapman, Jennifer Price, Megan Chapman and Erica Hicks
