Over A Hundred Pounds Of Litter And Recyclables Picked Up By Keep Shelby Beautiful Volunteers
Ms. Burton and Ms. Thompson worked for several hours picking up bottles of glass, plastic, and aluminum, paper, and other varieties of trash carelessly discarded along Gidney Street. Over 100 pounds of litter and recyclables were collected.

Ms. Burton and Ms. Thompson showed their love for the community by their volunteer service. Keep Shelby Beautiful knows that clean communities are not just nice to look at – they are economically vibrant places where people want to live, work, shop and play. Service to the community is the ultimate declaration of love for where you live and for the people you share it with. Volunteer service is an important way that anyone can contribute to improving the quality of life in the community.
