Ms. Oveta Ann Huntley Moses, 70, of Shelby, NC, passed away o September 29, 2025, at Amorem Hospice, Valdese, NC. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Annie Liles Huntley. She was born on May 29, 1955 in Mecklenburg County, NC.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James B. Moses and grandson, Cory A. Moses.

She is survived by her son Saquondrell S. Moses (Tonya); sister, Velma K. Strong (Rick); brothers, William Huntley (Cheryl), Eric L. Huntley (Shelia), Warren A. Huntley (Tommy), Fredrick Huntley (Lynn), and Marcus D. Huntley (Jennifer); and grandchild, Sariya Moses; special friend, Delores Wren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. at S. T. Enloe Memorial Chapel.
