Pam Chapman, age 54, of Rutherfordton, passed away Sunday, June 25, 2017. Pam was born October 19, 1962 in Rutherford County and was the daughter of Dorothy "Dot" Hutchins Chapman who resides in Ellenboro and the late Jim Chapman. She was a graduate of East Rutherford High School, class of 1980 and also attended Isothermal Community College. Pam was the manager of Spakes Restaurant for over ten years and also worked as a photographer for the Daily Courier. She was a member of Harriett Memorial Free Will Baptist Church and loved flower gardening.

In addition to her mother, those left to cherish her memory include her fur-baby, "Foxie"; special friend, Bill Smith of Rutherfordton and several aunts and uncles.

The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Billy Poe Jones and Reverend Mike Cash officiating. Interment will follow in Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
