Pansy Hensley Mull
Pansy Hensley Mull, 81, passed away on October 1, 2012 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center.  A native of Gaston County, she was the daughter of the late Julius Coleman and Vennie Edna Wright Hensley.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Mull; sister, Ruth Hensley; brother, Horace Hensley; and special granddaughter, Nicci Lail.  Pansy retired from Specialty Lighting.  She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church.  She enjoyed crafting and growing her African violets. Pansy was affectionately known in her later years as “Granny Pansy”.

Pansy is survived by her son, Joe Mull of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; daughters, Debi Harrill and husband Freddie of Shelby, Donna McDowell and husband Tommy of Shelby, Tricia Mull Carver and husband Mike of Mooresville; brother, Carroll Hensley of Shelby; grandchildren, Natalie Whitaker, Neely Melton, Debbie Smith, Jennifer Hudson, Natasha Mull; great grandchildren, Aaron and Austin Haskin, Haydin Smith, Payton Hudson.

The family would like to offer a special thanks to the caregivers at White Oak Manor in Shelby.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, October 4, 2012 at Eastside Baptist Church.  The Rev. Leland Kerr will be officiating.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the church sanctuary.  At other times the family will be at the home of Freddie and Debi Harrill, 833 Ivywood Drive in Shelby.
