SHELBY- Paralee Sturgill, 78, died Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2016 at Carolinas Continue Care Hospital. She was born in Washington Co. Va. to the late Joe and Cora Willie Fleenor. She was a member of Clearview Baptist Church for 51 years.

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grand-daughter, Christina Evans.

SURVIVED: She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Ray Sturgill, of the home; daughter Deborah Evans of Shelby; son, Ray Sturgill and wife Tina of Shelby; sisters, Linda Tester and husband Tommy, Wilma Metcalf and husband Pete, Joan Denton and husband David, and Lona Bishop and husband Manuel, all of Bristol, Va.; grandchildren Daniel Sturgill and wife Emily, Elizabeth Ervin and husband Joe, Ashley Thomas and husband Andy; great grandchildren JJ Ervin, Gabby Ervin and Karlee Sturgill.

VISITATION: The family will receive friends from 10-12, prior to the service at the church.

FUNERAL SERVICES: 12:00 PM, Friday, December 23, 2016 at Clearview Baptist Church, Grover, NC

OFFICIATING: Rev. Barry Miles and Rev. Joe Ervin

BURIAL: Internment will be at Cleveland Memorial Park
