Patricia Ann Bischoff Stinchcomb, 78, of Fallston, passed away on Monday, June 8, 2020 at Hospice of Wendover, Shelby.

Born in Sussex County, New Jersey, on October 30, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Victor Bischoff and Lucy Margaret Goble Bischoff. Pat was formerly employed with Shadowline of Fallston and Piece Goods of Charlotte until her retirement. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Lawndale.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her son, Jimmy Ty Stinchcomb.

She is survived by her husband of fifty-seven years, Jimmy Calvin Stinchcomb; two daughters, Terri Hord and husband Bobby of Shelby and Lori Goodman and husband Ken of Belwood; one brother, Robert Bischoff and wife Marcia of Wake Forest; five grandchildren, Sarah Hord Ashworth and husband Kyle of St. Albans, England, Emily Goodman Willis and husband Jesse of Vale, William Hord of Brooklyn, NY, Matthew Goodman of Seattle, WA and Kristopher Goodman of Morganton; and one great-grandchild Luke Ashworth.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, June 12, 2020 at 2:00 pm at First United Methodist Church, Lawndale with the Rev. Keith Sherrill and Rev. Rebekah Ralph officiating. Mrs. Stinchcomb will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service for friends and family viewing. Due to Covid-19 restrictions please wear a mask to the funeral service.

The burial will follow the service in the Rose Hill Memorial Park. Visitation with family will follow at the gravesite and at the home of Jimmy Stinchcomb.
