Patricia Ileen White Tessnear Ferguson, age 71, of Forest City, passed away on Monday, January 2, 2017 at the Joy W. Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.
Born October 21, 1945 in Rutherford County, she was a daughter to the late Morgan White and Addie Smith White. She worked in textiles for over thirty years, working for Fieldcrest and Cone Mills. Patricia also worked for Kings Mountain Hospice as a dietician for several years. She was an active member of the Shriners Club of Chesnee and attended Grace Chapel in Forest City. Patricia enjoyed Shag Dancing, gardening and cooking meals for her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Joyce White Taylor.
Survivors include three daughters, Neva Tessnear Glawson and husband, Chris of Forest City, Paula Phillips and Pam White both of Midland, NC; one son, Chris Tessenear and wife, Ashley of Forest City; two brothers, T.C. White and wife, Paulette of Forest City and Grover Carl White and wife, Linda of Chesnee, SC; one sister, Cathy Bradley and husband, Dewey of Forest City. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Miranda Tessnear, Morgan Layton, Hallie Taylor, Robert Morgan, C.J. Glawson, Shanna Glawson, Josh Wyatt and a great-grandson, Andrew Glawson.
The memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at Grace Chapel of Forest City with Reverend Ricky Poteat officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
