Mrs. Patricia Jean Humphries Bowen, 88, of Boiling Springs, NC passed away Thursday, April 27, 2023 at Atrium Health Cleveland. Born September 5, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Guy and Macy Humphries. In addition to her parents she was predeceased in death by her husband, Clyde, her son, Van, granddaughter, Cayla, grandson Richard and several brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Bowen worked at Parson's Dress Shop and the Colleton County Assessor's Office while living in Walterboro, SC and was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church and First Baptist Church. After her retirement she returned to Boiling Springs, NC and attended Boiling Springs Baptist Church. She was very devoted and loyal to her church family and friends.

Mrs. Pat was an excellent tennis player and played in both Walterboro and Boiling Springs making lifelong connections in the process.

Left to cherish her memory, is her son, Greg Bowen (Jan) of Walterboro, daughter-in-law, Wanda Bowen of Taylors, her sister, Sue Daggerhart of Gaffney, 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank her caregivers at Cleveland Pines and Atrium Health for their love and care.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Monday, May 1, 2023 in the sanctuary of Boiling Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Dixon officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church sanctuary. Burial will follow the service at Cleveland Memorial Park.
