Patricia Yvonne Price Eaton, 85, passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at Peak Resources in Cherryville, NC.

Patricia Yvonne Eaton, nee Price, of Shelby, NC passed away peacefully at the age of 85 on July 22, 2025, at Peak Resources nursing home in Cherryville, NC. Patricia is survived by her 3 children, and from a family of 11 children, she is survived by one brother. Patricia was a loving grandmother of 3 and great-grandmother of 3, and long-time member of Buffalo Baptist Church.

Originally from Buncombe County NC, Patricia came to Shelby in 1967 with her first husband Carl Duncan and worked for Dover Mills, later Doran Mills, at the J&C Dyeing Plant until the plant closed in the 1990's.

Patricia loved gardening, cooking, shopping, spoiling her grandchildren, and holidays with family around her, and she was always ready for a really good cheeseburger.

Patsy, as she was known in the immediate family, was a sweet and loving person who endured 'the long goodbye' in very much the same way. She will be sorely missed and remembered for her sacrifices to help those family members closest to her in times of need.

The family will hold services privately.
