Patrick Ian Marshall moved on to be with Jesus on Saturday, November 14, 2015. He was 29 years old, an exceptional husband, father, son and friend. He was preceded by his grandfather Charles Garner and grandparents John and Joyce Marshall. In 2004, Patrick achieved the rank of Eagle Scout and also graduated from Shelby High School. In 2007, he graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Animal Science from NC State University.

Remaining here to celebrate his life and continue the joy and love he brought to everyone who ever knew him are his amazing wife Andrea and their daughter Adeline; his mother, Deanna Marshall; his father, Scott Marshall; his grandmother Ruth Pulley and husband, Griffin; his wife's parents David and Robin Black; his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Timothy and Ashley Kernicky and nephew Kai; along with many other family members and friends, too numerous to list.

The service will be held at Putnam Baptist Church, 1146 County Home Road, Shelby, NC at 2pm on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 with Bryan Glisson, Neal Perry, and Matt Vanderbilt officiating. The family will receive friends in the church sanctuary from 1:00pm to 2:00pm. A private graveside ceremony will be conducted afterwards.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that those who choose to do so make a contribution to Adeline Marshall's college fund in care of Putnam Baptist Church (704-487-6415). The proceeds will be placed in Adeline's 529 college savings account.
